bvt.sh — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2025-12-14

bvt.sh (“we,” “our,” “the app”) is a testing playground for developers. It’s not an ad-tech business.

Still: privacy matters. Here’s what we collect, why, and how we treat it.

1. Information we collect

Account data

You can create an account using email + password (Supabase Auth).

We may store:

  • Email address
  • Profile fields you provide (for example: username, display name)

Note: We do not store your raw password. Authentication is handled by Supabase.

Usage + diagnostics

We collect minimal operational signals to keep the app working:

  • Basic request logs (for example: timestamps, endpoints)
  • Error logs when something breaks
  • Aggregate analytics via Vercel Analytics

Automatically collected data

  • IP address
  • User agent
  • Timestamp
  • Referrer (if provided by your browser)

2. What we use your data for

  • Login and account functionality
  • Running the app safely (abuse prevention, rate limiting)
  • Improving reliability and performance
  • Debugging issues

We do not sell personal data.

3. Data retention

  • Account data: until you delete your account (or request deletion)
  • Operational logs: retained for a limited time as needed for debugging and abuse prevention

4. Minors

We don’t target minors. If you’re under 13, don’t use the service.

5. Third-party services

Depending on deployment, bvt.sh may use:

  • Supabase (auth + database)
  • Vercel (hosting + analytics)
  • Upstash Redis (rate limiting / usage tracking)

6. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make major changes, we’ll try to communicate them.
